Scandicci

Russell-Newton Secondary High School is situated in Scandicci, a small but busy town six kilometres far from Florence. It is a modern town with some historical structures like Castello dell’Acciaiuolo, once a fortress now a fascinating venue for events. The original building dates from the 14th century and it owes its name to the first owners, the Acciaiuolo family.
